With the start of mechanical trash pickup - Green Bins for Household Waste / Blue Bins for mixed recycling -- Trash Collection Days are now.....
> Tuesdays - Household Waste (Green Bins) & Recycling (Blue Bins) & Yard / Lawn Waste (bagged, loose, or in your personal trash container)
> Fridays - Household Waste (Green Bins)

Reminders:
> Trash collection begins at 6AM - plan ahead!
> Trash collection holidays can be found on the County web site (see below)
> Leave 3 feet of space around your Green and Blue trash bins to allow the mechanical arms clearance to pick up the bin
> All trash except yard debris must be placed in bins - items left at the curb will not be picked up
> Do not place Trash Bins at the curb until 24 hours before trash collection day(s)
> Bring Trash Bins in from the curb by end of day on trash collection day(s) - ACC Guidelines Requirement
> Trash Bins are to be stored out of sight (not visible from the street) - ACC Guidelines Requirement

Holiday Schedule
There is no garbage, recycling or yard waste collection on the following holidays:
> New Year's Day
> Memorial Day
> Independence Day
> Labor Day
> Thanksgiving Day
> Christmas day

There are no holiday make-up days for the collection of residential garbage, recycling or yard waste.
Services will resume on the next regularly scheduled collection day.

Non Collection Reasons / Notices
Waste Management will not collect and will leave a Non-Collection Notice for the following reasons:
> Not enough clearance around the collection cart...
> Cart not positioned correctly (with arrows facing the street).
> Collection cart too far from curb (maximum 2 feet).
> Some items in the BLUE recycling cart are not accepted by the County recycling program.
> Items placed outside the cart. Everything must fit inside the carts in order to be collected.....
> Yard waste is mixed with garbage. Garbage must be placed in the GRAY cart.
> Yard waste exceeds set-out limit of 2 cubic yards per week; container weighs more than 50 lbs;
> limbs and branches cannot be more than 4 feet long and 6 inches in diameter.
> Yard waste is not bundled, neatly stacked, or placed in a yard waste container.
> Item(s) not accepted curbside. Take to the appropriate County solid Waste disposal facility.
